Christmas Cheer
Members from Bass Lake Lions, Sierra Lions & Yosemite High LEOs visited the Oakhurst Wellness Center to cheer up residents with Christmas carols & cards. Santa joined in the fun passing out homemade Christmas stockings to residents/staff.
Leos Helping Brighten YHS
During the winter, Yosemite High School Leos planted daffodils at their school as well as at a retirement/wellness center in Oakhurst. Spring showed up after the snow to reveal the beautiful daffodils. The Leos are sponsored by Bass Lake Lions and Sierra Lions.
Antique & Classic Boat Show
Each year, the Bass Lake Lions sponsors the Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show at Miller’s Landing. Over 30 beautiful wooden boats filled the docks – coming from southern and northern California. A biplane flyover was an added attraction to this event that was held on a warm, but mild, day. Hundreds viewed the boats while the Bass Lake Lions passed out informational tri-folds and held a raffle to help serve the community throughout the year!
